Business Storytelling: Puppy Yoga at her Elevated with Front Street Animals

This past weekend I was quite thrilled to be able to document the Puppy Yoga event at her Elevated in Sacramento.
I love capturing fun events for my small (and large!) businesses.

This event was the CUTEST!
I mean, yoga (healthy) + puppies (friggin’ adorable) = the best thing on the planet (besides, maybe kitten yoga.
Or goat yoga!)
I also adored watching who the puppies gravitated towards. For some reason there were a handful of people from the crowd that grabbed these puppies attention and they would NOT leave them alone. Even after the amazing Front Street volunteers picked them up and placed them elsewhere in the room, they all gravitated back towards the humans they were so delighted to be near.
**squeeee**

On the non-puppy side of things, when photographing business events, I like to document as things naturally happen and unfold.
I’ll be sure to capture some quick grins at the camera, but really, the best images are the ones that tell the full story of the event.
Images that capture the feel of the event, so that your viewers can experience what it was like to be there,
even if they weren’t.

It’s also a great way to get people excited for the next similar event!

And another note, that my photographer friends might like: the Nikon Z7ii is pretty sweet.
I’m also really loving the grain that comes from the files. I pushed this to 3200. I used to shoot that film all the time in my Nikon FM2. I adored 3200 and that lovely crunchy grain.

Digital didn’t ever hold that aesthetic for me, it was always just a bit too fake looking. Too pixelated.
But these files? That grain feels and looks legit. I love it!

Okay I won’t keep talking. I can almost hear you saying, “Let’s get on with it – give me more PUPPIES!”

Here you go 😉

After a bit, the puppies started to get sleepy. They took a quick nap on the yoga maps only to wake again and pile on top of one another because – of course, they did. They are so cute!

Are you like ” I need to adopt one of these puppies!! RIGHT NOW!”
Okay – love it! Front Street will be hosting an adoption event this weekend May 27th + 28th at the Petco at 1878 Arden Way Sacramento.
Need more info? contact Front Street! These puppies will go FAST (as all puppies usually do).

But please know there are TONS of amazing good boys and good girls waiting for their FurEver Homes at the shelter. Please take a look and consider adopting an older or senior furbaby.
You truly will help save a life (or lives! Adopt 2. Maybe 3!?)

Kitties too, they have so many cute kitties and cats! It’s almost Caturday, how can you celebrate without a CAT in your life. You can’t.
